NATURponty – the Pontypridd Nature Reserve project is a participatory art project that recognises Pontypridd as a valuable ecosystem made up of all living organisms that are wildlife, plants and people.

Led by the artists Catrin Doyle and Anne-Mie Melis, community activist Angela Karadog, technology in education organisation Pontydysgu and arts organisation Addo, we aim to inspire and empower the people of Pontypridd and we are collectively engaging in discussions around biodiversity and climate change, and playing with possibilities for sustainable living side-by-side with nature through creative activities.

NATURponty is a partnership project between artists Anne-Mie Melis & Catrin Doyle, Pontydysgu and Addo and is funded by the Arts Council of Wales’, Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, Pontypridd Town Council, Welsh Water, Growth, Mind & Thrive, and Menter Iaith Rhondda Cynon Taf.
